Stepping Out in Leather and Suede

Loving these shoe boots by Christian Louboutin. The colors of gold and black, heightened in drama by the signature red sole, remind me of a monarch butterfly. The patchwrok textures of leather, suede, and ponyskin interplay beautifully.

My take-it-or-leave-it feature of these shoes? They fasten with velcro and a zipper. Velcro — really? Ugh. I hate the sound of it, which represents the antithesis of discreetness. And it catches stray pieces of lint and other undesirable items.

However, on the whole, it’s certainly a stunning design. I’d buy them anyway.

Plus, I found them discounted at Outnet.com for $639 (normally $1065). Check them out, and hope that your size is still available at that price! It’s worth checking out, if not at least to see more angles of this design. It’s organic, fluid, and sharp.
