Coach has come out with a sensible and sleek line of bags this season, in their effort to look sophisticated and higher end. Gone is the plethora of the interlocking CCs pattern that covered their bags. We’re seeing much more leather, and, after a long delay, in a metallic sheen — the new basic.
One of my favorites from the new line is the leather satchel, pictured here in the warm Berry color from the Hamptons collection. I also like the Mahogany shade in deep brown.
This bag has all the markings of a smart choice for travel or work, with dimensions of 14 /12 (L) x 10 3/4 (H) x 6 1/2 (W). The warm colors will complement most any wardrobe choice daily.
I think this bag looks lush, and though I don’t always think of Coach when I want a designer bag, I think the design is sleek enough to qualify. $498 at Coach.com.
