Italian luxury brand designer Valextra has been making headlines stealthfully since about 1997, and fans of streamlined design rejoice in the label’s offerings. You want minimalist? Valextra fulfills that desire with unmistakably meticulous craftsmanship (blissfully free of logos).
Designs stay in the collection for years and are not rotated out on fashion whims.
One of the most famous designs is the travel case, featured here. This boxy case unfolds to reveal several compartments, neatly arranged to capably hold every little detail of your life (as it pertains to toiletries and other personal items).
The boutique is in Verona, Italy. If you can’t sneak away to practice your Italian, you can always
go to Barney’s; they carry the bags in store only (can’t buy them online there).
The designer’s website showcases the design with little in the way of words and lets the visuals take center stage.
