Louis Vuitton has created a version of the Suhali bag that is guaranteed to grab more attention than ever — and please, do NOT wear this bag on a sunny day for fear of blinding passerby.

I mean, all gold? Really? Is there a point when the word “overkill” comes to mind? There’s no contrast to this bag for visual interest; just….shine. Lots of it.

I am all for the craftsmanship of Louis bags, especially when they are entirely leather. However, any elements of design on this particular purse seem to be drowned out by gobs of gold.

There is a silver version, for those who are turned off by the yellowness of this one. At 13.5″ wide, 11.1″ high, and 6.7 wide, this bag threatens to overshadow most anything worn with it. My advice is to buy this bag in any of the more sane colors. But, if you must, it’s $2,820 at eLuxury.
