There are a few clutches out there that are embellished with Swarovski crystals, and Choo has thrown his hat into the ring with the Cecile embellished clutch. What I like about this particular design is the delicate blush color, as this glowing neutral shade goes with just about everything, from pastels to black. There is intricate beading on this on the front and back, beige satin lining, and a removable chain link strap in a monochromatic color that blends with the bag for a continuously coordinated look and enhances its wearability. Size is decent at 6.5″ wide, 4″ high, and 2.5″ deep — the essentials can definitely fit.
The flap bag has a magnetic closure for low-maintenance sophistication during access (nothing more annoying than the old-school snap closure). The metallic color is very right-now, which can threaten to be so-yesterday, but I think that this bag uses metallic well to complement the jewels. This clutch has staying power in anyone’s evening bag collection. $1995 at Net-a-Porter.
