I don’t often come across a handbag that I love so much by a fairly new designer, but this is one of them. I would buy this in a hearbeat; it looks perfectly modern and should secure a place in MOMA.
The Clint Day bag has balanced asymmetry (not an easy feat!), and uses a lovely orange and cream palette, topped off with champagne gold details.
Made of calfskin leather with a suede interior, there is
fabulous use of materials here (I love the smoothness of suede). There is a buckle closure that appears easy to use, which is a nice change from the magnetic technique. The rolled leather handle is also a nice touch for comfort.
A great size at 12″ wide, 8″ high, and 1/2″ deep, this is a piece of art. $945 at Saks.
