Tod’s is known for its basic, unadorned style. However, the Lux 2 Manici Media Patchwork bag is unusual for the designer for several reasons.

Flashier than Tod’s other designs, the metallic leather is woven into a court jester diamond style. This bag still works because the neutral color and satchel style ground the look and prevent it from being too over-the-top.

The polished silver metal hardware match the color of the leather extremely well for a polished, monochromatic look, and the rolled leather handles enhance the comfort and functionality of the bag. The metal feet are appreciated finishing touches that protect its longevity.

At 14″ wide, 9″ high, and 5.5″ deep, this is a great size for everyday chic style for work and the weekends. Though this might be pegged for an older set, as a twenty-something I like it for its eccentric sensibility. $1850 at eLuxury.com.
