I’m loving JCrew this season. Their clothes have a decidedly vintage, precious feel, where you could have stepped back into time in a French shop and bought these pieces to wear. I think they’re timeless and wanted to share a few of my favorites with you.
The first is the fleur-de-lis necklace. One of my favorite symbols, this 34″ chain lets you wear it waist-length for drama with a plain dress, or doubled up for a regular pendant length. It is also a locket, so you can put photos of your cherished ones inside (including yourself, ha!) $85.
Next are these absolutely gorgeous shoes — I’m totally in love with these Erin suede peep-toe heels. I tried them on in the Boston store and they fit very comfortably. Luckily, I wear a size 7, the smallest they carry in the store! They come in a bright chili-pepper and black, along with other materials like leather and beautiful plaid, paisley, and floral prints, but these are it for me! $178.
Finally, the Lexington jacket — I just bought it in grey, a soft, sophisticated jacket that I can wear through the spring — is a true classic. The piping is very Chanel-like, and the black version is very similar to a Balenciaga design out right now. The enamel buttons are beautiful, and the details like the four button cuffs, double vents in the back, and beautiful lining seal the deal for me. Besides the black, which is beautiful, especially on brunettes, it comes in white with yellow piping. The white and yellow is going to be a little more difficult to pull off I think, so that may be one to catch on sale.
