The Gucci Aviatrix bags are great for the Fall and Winter seasons. The structured Boston bag shape, rich, dark colors, and luxe gold will stand up well against the strong, feminine 40’s Dior look for women. The design is almost timeless, though I think that the gold may be a little too strong, almost looking cheesy (where did the Gucci crest on the medallion come from? It’s clearly not a legacy crest of any kind, so it seems almost cheesy in its attempt to appear of a moneyed heritage.) However, as a petite woman, I love the 11.8″ length of the bag — it’s a great size to stay in proportion with a smaller body. So, despite my concerns on the gold, I would still buy it. The brown suede is also a great option. These bags are $1990 on Gucci.
